Gothic Arch Multi-Span Greenhouse
Gothic Arch Multi-Span Greenhouse
A gothic arch connected greenhouse engineered for large-scale production in snowy, cold climates. The gothic roof sheds snow naturally, while shared galvanized gutters handle rain and meltwater — a dual drainage system built for extreme weather. Multi-span construction delivers a continuous, high-ceiling interior with over 90% land utilization, supporting the full range of automated growing systems. The flagship solution for commercial growers operating at scale in high-latitude or heavy-snow regions.

Product Overview — Where Scale Meets Snow-Shedding Performance
The PONSUNO Gothic Arch Multi-Span Greenhouse combines two engineering strengths: the continuous, land-efficient footprint of a multi-bay connected greenhouse, and the steep, snow-shedding roof profile of a gothic arch. It scales to tens of thousands of square meters without sacrificing the cold-climate performance that round-roof multi-span greenhouses struggle to deliver.
- Structure & Materials. Hot-dip galvanized steel frame (275g/m² zinc coating), columns 50–250mm diameter sized by span and load. Each span is formed by precision-bent gothic arches connected by full-length galvanized steel gutters (1.5–2.5mm). All-bolted assembly, no field welding.
- Snow & Water Management — The Defining Advantage. Unlike a round-roof multi-span where snow accumulates across every bay and concentrates in gutter valleys, the gothic profile's steep upper roof causes snow to slide off before it builds to critical loads. Meltwater is then carried away by the oversized gutter system. This dual approach — natural shedding + positive drainage — achieves 0.30–0.50 kN/m² snow ratings with a lighter frame, and drastically reduces manual snow removal labor in winter.
- Interior Space & Cultivation. The gothic arch rises more vertically from the gutter line, making 3.0–6.0m shoulder heights practical without excessive ridge height. This creates a tall, open interior suited to vining crops, fruit trees, nursery stock, and mechanized cultivation — overhead tractors, rolling benches, vertical racking. The higher ridge (4.5–8.0m) also improves thermal stratification and air circulation across large bays.
- Covering & Integrated Systems. Roof in 100–200 micron PE/PO/EVA film (anti-fog, anti-drip, UV-stabilized), polycarbonate optional. Side walls selectable: film, polycarbonate, color steel sandwich panel, or glass. The load-rated structure supports full automation — ventilation, shading (30%–85%), heating, fertigation, multi-zone environmental control, supplemental lighting, CO₂ enrichment, and hydroponic or bench systems.
Who It's For. Large-scale vegetable and flower growers in snowy or cold climates; high-volume seedling nurseries; R&D stations needing high headroom and climate precision; operations wanting multi-span efficiency without compromising winter snow performance.
